How to manually add an invoice to Arua

Modified on Wed, 13 Sep, 2023 at 7:11 AM

Normally Arua is set up to use artificial intelligence to scan your connected email inboxes for invoices to upload.   See our What is the Inbox Monitor and how to use it

However, sometimes you may need to manually download invoices from vendors’ websites and upload them to Arua.  Or you may not want to email the document to a connected inbox but instead, choose to upload the invoice manually yourself.

Action needed:

1.  Click on the button, located in the top-right corner

2.  The File Upload screen will pop up

The drop down allows you to set what type of file you are uploading (Invoice, Credit note, etc)

Either click “drop file here” to open your file explorer and select a file or click and drag the file into the box. File formats allowed are: .jpeg, .pdf, .png and .gif.

Please note:  The maximum upload file size is 20MB.

From there the source document screen will open, with key information extracted from the document using artificial intelligence. You can then make final edits to the various data fields and approve the document.
